Dear Consumers,
Over the last 30 years, the European Commission has introduced environmental laws that have reduced air and water pollution and protected the natural world and human health. European environment policy has also made other policy areas ‘greener’, such as agriculture, fisheries, industry, energy and research. However, more needs to be done. The environmental challenges we are facing are increasingly complex and global.
The magazine InfoCons and the web sites www.protectia-mediului.org (environment protection) and www.o9atitudine.ro (a new attitude) contain information on issues such as climate change, biodiversity, waste, air and water – critical issues on which we all need to act. They will help you to understand how you personally and people collectively can rise to the challenges, today and tomorrow.
I am positive that this first independent Romanian publication, InfoCons, together with the two websites, will therefore greatly contribute to better informing Romanian consumers on a large variety of topics and will help them to better understand how to change their lives and habits towards sustainable consumption.
Remember, the future is yours!
